National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), recognizes the essential role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s frail, elderly, and disabled. This weeklong celebration starts May 10th through May 16th.
This year, while it is more important than ever to celebrate NSNCW at Shady Lane and recognize the staff and residents, it is a challenge to do so. Current social distancing rules and the inability of friends and family to enter the buildings has changed much of the day to day life of the staff and the residents, and no one really knows how long this is going to continue. One thing is certain, though, and that is that Shady Lane’s staff play a critical role in caring for residents and that deserves to be honored and celebrated.
Shady Lane would like to thank their staff who all show resilience, fortitude, and a shared sense of purpose to solve the ever-changing challenges this industry faces each year while still providing the compassionate care Shady Lane is known for. The staff that provides excellent care to the residents, many of whom are your loved ones, neighbors, and friends.
