Nurse Intern

We are seeking part-time AM & PM shift Nurse Interns to join our team. The Nurse Intern will provide compassionate care while assisting residents with activities of daily living and will comply with all pharmaceutical policies with the administration of medication. The Nurse Intern will promote dignity and respect to residents and complete job duties while working in a team environment practicing good communication and cooperation.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician 

We are seeking full and part-time Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) on all shifts and a full-time PM shift Medication Technician (MT) to join our team. We offer a $600 Sign-On Bonus for CNAs and an $800 Sign-On Bonus for MT’s that is contingent on 64 committed hours worked per pay period. We offer the opportunity to work 4-hour shifts as a part-time employee if desired.

The CNA will promote dignity and respect to residents and complete job duties while working in a team environment practicing good communication and cooperation. The CNA will provide compassionate care while assisting residents with activities of daily living.

The Medication Aide/Tech will provide compassionate care while assisting residents with activities of daily living and will comply with all pharmaceutical policies with the administration of medication. The qualified applicant will be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide registry with completion of a medication aide program.

RN/LPN

We are seeking compassionate full and part-time RN/LPNs to join our team. We have exciting Monday-Friday AM and PM shift positions and a 16/24 Status position available. The 16/24 Status is the perfect solution for those that have busy weekdays as the position only requires working 3 weekends per month with the bonus of an increased rate of pay. The position would work 16 hours on a weekend and be paid for 24 hours.

We offer a $3,000 Sign On Bonus that is contingent on 64 committed hours worked per pay period.

The RN will provide direct supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and other non-licensed personnel assigned to the unit. The RN will comply with all pharmaceutical policies, assess residents and make an appropriate intervention, participate in care planning process and ensure that care plan is implemented consistently, comply with standards of professional documentation, communicate and manage the delivery of resident care in a respectful and dignified manner, and works effectively in a team environment while providing the highest quality of care.

The LPN will provide direct supervision to CNAs and other non-licensed personnel assigned to the unit. The LPN will comply with all pharmaceutical policies, observe residents and make appropriate interventions, assist with the development and communication of resident care plans, comply with standards of professional documentation, communicate and manage the delivery of resident care in a dignified and respectful manner.

Caregiver/RA/Resident Assistant

We are seeking full & part-time Caregivers/RA’s (Resident Assistant) for all shifts and a full-time AM shift RA/Activity Aide to join our team.

We offer a $600 Sign On Bonus that is contingent on 64 committed hours worked per pay period. We offer the opportunity to work 4-hour shifts as a part-time employee if desired.

The Caregiver/RA will promote dignity and respect to residents and complete job duties while working in a team environment practicing good communication and cooperation. The Caregiver/RA will provide compassionate care while assisting residents with activities of daily living. The Caregiver/RA Activity Aide will assist with cares and be a part of the exciting activities that take place at our Skilled and Assisted Living facility.

Housekeeper

We are seeking full and part-time AM shift Housekeepers to join our team. High school students are also encouraged to apply. The Housekeeper position provides a clean and sanitary environment for staff and residents include but are not limited to dusting rooms, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing units, cleaning carpets, and replenishing supplies as needed to the units. Housekeepers will promote dignity and respect to residents and complete job duties while working in a team environment practicing good communication and cooperation.

Dietary Aide/Baker

We are seeking part-time AM candidates to join our team as Dietary Aides and a part-time AM shift Baker. High school students are also encouraged to apply. The Dietary Aide and Baker (cook) position will promote dignity and respect to residents and complete job duties while working in a team environment practicing good communication and cooperation. Some of the job duties include but are not limited to storing food properly, delivering nourishment and dietary supplements to units per schedule, and sanitizing food preparation equipment, dishes, and utensils. The Baker will also assist with baking/cooking food for our residents while adhering to all Federal and State food safety regulations.

Become a CNA

We offer classes onsite through partnership with Quality CNA Training. Classroom and hands-on training are provided right here at Shady Lane. The instructors are experienced nurses and have a passion for education and health care. Students are provided with opportunities to learn and practice all the skills necessary to provide care to our residents, including assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, personal cares, meals and more! Our classroom provides opportunities for those interested in health care to learn in a real-world environment. You must be at least 16 to take the class. 
 
Students that take the course as an employee of Shady Lane will have their class time paid, along with all fees and the test. In return, the student will agree to work at Shady Lane for the next year. Students taking the course through other providers or on their own are responsible for the fees.
