Todd Meerdink

Todd Meerdink joined Shady Lane in 1993.  Todd understands and articulates Shady Lane’s values across the entire care continuum when giving tours, advising potential residents, and presenting to other groups. His leadership and vision continues to keep Shady Lane at the forefront of caring for the needs of the senior population of Manitowoc County. Todd attened Northwestern College in Iowa where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. 

Michelle Stockton
Admissions Coordinator

Michelle Stockton serves as Shady Lane’s Admissions Coordinator. She’s responsible for developing the census by cultivating relationships with potential residents and their families with appropriate information and assistance. She focuses on discovering potential resident’s motivational needs. Michelle partners with team members to ensure high levels of internal and external satisfaction.

Krysta Huibregtse
Human Resources Coordinator

As Human Resources Coordinator, Krysta Huibregtse, possesses expertise in our recruitment process, employee benefits and records, payroll, and managing all policies and procedures from her many years at Shady Lane. Krysta keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and practices thanks to her Associate Degree in Human Resource Administration. She also holds a Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing and a Technical Diploma as a Health Unit Coordinator. 

Margie Meyer
Director of Dietary Services

Margie Meyer believes in making the ordinary into something special. Her countless years of experience, along with her own family recipes, produce delicious and nutritious meals at Shady Lane. Margie oversees the dietary department from menu planning to food preservation. She holds a Dietary Manager designation from Northeast Technical College.

Deanne Weier
Director of Nursing

Deanne Weier is Shady Lane’s Campus Clinical Director/Director of Nursing. In addition to overseeing the nursing staff, she is responsible for quality assurance, infection prevention, and staff education. Deanne earned her Associates from Lakeshore Technical College.

Kasandra Kulpa
Chief Financial Officer

Kasandra Paider, our Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial health of Shady Lane by creating and implementing financial polices to guarantee operational efficiency.  Kasandra is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rachel Pelnar
Activity Campus Coordinator

Rachel Pelnar has been employed at Shady Lane Inc. since 2001 and carries a great passion in implementing activity programming for the facility while leading her valued team. She is mindful to incorporate the 6 Elements of Wellness: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social, Community, and Emotional within her programming to benefit all levels of residents who reside in our facility. Caring authenticity and creativity always takes precedence with bringing life to our residents.

Molly Stolp
Marketing Coordinator

 Molly Stolp develops the marketing strategy by planning and implementing promotional campaigns and initiative through the preparation of online and print marketing campaigns. She is responsible for brand management and identity by analyzing potential strategic partner relationships through a managed budget. Molly attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a minor in Corporate Communication.

Lidia Kalsow
Registered Dietitian

Lidia provides meal plans and coaching for residents with food allergies, sensitivities, and food-related disorders while overseeing all meals to ensure they meet appropriate nutritional standards. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Stout in Nutritional Science and Dietetics, had an internship with UW- Green Bay, and became a Registered Dietitian. 

Becky Schneider
Residential Service Support
Becky provides support services for the long-term and rehab residents in our skilled nursing. She facilitates and maintains contact with the preadmissions process while coordinating internal communications. Becky has a hand in preventing outbreaks or epidemics in the facility, with commendable outcomes.
Taylor Pokorski
Social Services Designee/LPN

Taylor Pokorski, our Social Services Designee/LPN, assists with the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating social services for residents at Shady Lane in accordance with regulations to ensure their emotional and psycho-social needs are met. She assists with assessments, care plans, and discharge planning while serving as a link between residents and community resources. Taylor holds a Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing from Lakeshore Technical College. She is also certified through the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT).
